l-Leucine, l-Isoleucine, l-Valine (Branched Chain Amino Acids or BCAA) are essential amino acids called the stress amino acids. They must be taken together in balanced proportion. Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) are easily converted to ATP, critical to energy and muscle metabolism. They aid in hemoglobin formation, which helps to stabilize blood sugar and lower elevated blood sugar levels.
BCAA show excellent results in tissue repair from athletic stress.
They also help the body rebuild from anorexia deficiencies, and helps with liver restoration after surgical trauma.
BCAA provide energy directly to muscle tissue.
Did you know?
That high doses of BCAA have been used in hospitals to treat people suffering from trauma and infection.
- l-Leucine decreases blood sugar and boosts tissue healing, including bone.
- l-Isoleucine is essential for hemoglobin formation and regulates blood sugar and energy levels.
- l-Valine acts as a natural stimulant and is involved in tissue regeneration and nitrogen balance.
